We are sadly informed of the deaths of supporters on a regular basis and club staff never fail to be moved when a message is received notifying us that a supporter has passed away.

Many of the messages received by the club are accompanied by requests for tributes to be paid on a matchday, in the form of a minute’s applause during a first-team match.

Whilst Wolves wholeheartedly support any such fan-led initiative, due to the sheer volume of requests, it is regrettably not possible to formally hold these tributes at every match.

We do however aim to hold a matchday memorial service each year where we as a club remember all the supporters we have sadly lost over the previous years. We often hold this towards the end of the season, and will contact all supporters who hold a Season Ticket, Membership or attended a game over the previous season with further information.
